YONATHAN ELIAS

Yonathan Elias is an Eritrean/Nigerian TV Personality, Actor, and Model who has been stealing the spotlight in the entertainment industry for over 15 years. Elias uses his brand of being 1st Generation in the United States to uplift other 1st generational men and women, in their hopes and dreams of following their passion, just like he did. Elias first became known around the globe as a viral sensation after he produced a YouTube video named “D.C. Metro,” which received more than 700,000 views. He increased his fan base even more after co-hosting BET’s '106 & Park'. He’was a main cast member of BET’s HIT REALITY SHOW ‘Grand Hustle’ alongside T.I. He also has a weekend morning program on AriseTV, alongside actress Rain Pryor, called “Arise & Shine”. Elias is also the proud host of a music video countdown program that he creatively developed on Ethiopian Broadcast Service (EBS) called “Sound Pulse”. .

As a millennial with an old soul and eye for the beauty found in everyday living, Dior Davis, a Washington, D.C. native experienced his first taste of photography during a project assigned in grade nine. "I did my first photography class which we used a shoebox, construction paper, glue, and film paper and capture beautiful images and was intrigued by the results without using an actual camera," Davis says. In 2015, Davis launched StampDMV, a multimedia production company.  After years of commuting between Washington, DC and New York City, Davis relocated to Brooklyn, NY in June 2018.

CHUCK MARCUS

Marcus Charles aka Chuck Marcus is a New York based photographer. Born and raised in Harlem, NY. Chuck found his love for photography from his pops and mentor at the young age of 12 years old. In 2012 Chuck created his own company, Chuck Marcus Photography, a digital and print brand that organically communicates concepts and ideas through photography, creative direction, mood board creation, and graphic design. Specializing in product and lifestyle photography the camera holds his purpose and passion in telling a story through a photograph. Chuck has devised a formula that stays true to his clients' visions and objectives while adding his own perspective and spin. He’s worked with an impressive roster of clients, such as Adidas, Nike, KITH, Foot Locker, New Balance and other household name brands.

ERIC FORD

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Born and raised in Houston, TX., Eric always knew he wanted to be a creative. In 7th grade he took an interest in writing which lead him to obtaining a B.A. in Journalism;majoring in Print Journalism and Minoring in Creative Writing from Texas Southern University. Moving  to New York City just last year, he continues freelancing as a Digital Content Creator, where he aids in the manifestation of creating and managing digital content for various creative brands via social media management, creative direction, and content strategy. Brands such as K-Swiss, Buffalo Exchange, and Native Son have all been clients of his. By far not the most conventional individual, he is shaking things up whether with his views, style, and approach to his work.

ANTHONY HOWARD

SESSIONS WITH SIX SIX

In 2018, Anthony launched his YouTube vlog series “Sessions with Sixsixpapi”. These vlogs include vacations, YouTube challenges and most notably the clothing drive vlog. Anthony partnered with Help Bronx Crotona which included collecting and donating clothing items. The clothing drive took place at Underbar in Harlem. Anthony continues to give back to the community and believes that you have to be the change you want to see. As a man with many talents, Anthony also graced the cover of FGUK fashion magazine for their #TURNUPYOURBRIGHTNESS issue. He continues to build his brand and hopes to continue inspiring people to strive for happiness.

LAQUANN DAWSON

LaQuann is a Brooklyn-based photographer, designer writer and filmmaker cares deeply about queer art. He is a queer artist who finds himself more and more obsessed with story-telling.  Wanting to be a dancer because he loved to dance and envied the way some people could move. Drawing and painting because he wanted to create worlds and tell stories with images. He started taking photos to feel beautiful. Now he is using his gifts to make others feel beautiful and share their stories.

JAMES TERRELL

ENTERTAINMENT CORRESPONDENT + ON-AIR HOST

“Our community [African Americans] has produced so many pioneers across music, film and television, and as entertainment journalists, I think it’s our duty to take the lead in inspiring people by telling our stories from our perspective,” said James Terrell. An Entertainment Correspondent and On-Air Personality from New Orleans, James began his career as a Programmer/Board Operator for Citadel Broadcasting. After quickly climbing the ranks he was named the Assistant Program Director for KQXL Q106.5 and Heaven 1460 WXOK. Since leaving Baton Rouge, James has interviewed some of Hollywood and music’s biggest stars on countless Red Carpet Premieres, National Press Junkets and Awards Shows. Currently James  is a Correspondent for TheYBF.com [theybf.com].

DIGITAL MARKETING DIRECTOR + PRODUCER

A seasoned brand manager and digital marketing director for some of the world's largest consumer product brands, connected to some of the biggest properties in film and culture. As the “client" working on campaigns, Gilbertson, became increasingly aware of the democratization of content due to the rise of the Digital Age. With viewership now occurring across multiple screens, this has enabled diverse storytellers to have a chance to tell authentic stories from their experiences to an audience yearning for more inclusiveness and representation. In full recognition of the adage that, content is king, Gilbertson and his creative partner(Loic Maes) ventured to create Sip ’n’ Stir a digital content house fueled by cultural instigators and creators.

HAROLD WAIGHT

PHOTOGRAPHER + FILMMAKER 

Harold was born in house between the border of Belize and Guatemala on February 29th 1992. With having his work featured in MOMA at a very young age. Harold’s future was certain to be a bright one in the visual arts field. Once he arrived to New York he decided to broaden his education by attending FIT for image consulting. In 2015, Harold had his first photography exhibition in Brooklyn titled “let’s make art” this exhibition was a first glance look into the visual artists mind. In 2016 harold had his First art show in Chelsea titled “we are all beautiful people” Where he embraced and showcased 7 portraits of unique individuals from diverse backgrounds to depict a message of humanity and its moral love. Last year,Harold had a show named after his first collection titled “cocaine” which followed shortly after his short film shot by Derek Zhetut called “fashion is the drug”.
